There is one assistant who insists on using the phrases 'sweetie' and 'lovely' (often many times when addressing the same customer).
I find such familiarity offensive and disrespectful from someone I don't know. Staff shouldn't assume everyone likes to be addressed in such a manner.

They never answer the telephone!! I live in the next town and I have to use boots to collect my daughter?s prescription. These wouldn?t be my first choice!

Absolute shambles. I sent my sister in for a pharmacy first as she clearly has sinusitis, I myself am a pharmacy technician in Yorkshire so am well aware of the criteria for her to get antibiotics which the pharmacist there admitted she needed. The consultation was done in the shop rather than in the consultation room which is not only within earshot of all customers but does not protect her privacy.
The pharmacist then told her she needed antibiotics and to ring her surgery on Monday. What is the point of pharmacy first if they are going to dismiss people and send them either back to the doctor or 111 who will both refer her back to the pharmacy.
What an absolute joke this pharmacy is.

The pharmacist herself was nice and helpful (the only reason for the two stars) but I honestly didn't understand the attitude of two other staff members who treated me as if I was a second rate customer or not worthy of serving. Bizarre actually. I couldn't work out what on earth I had done and at one point even asked but got no repsonse. Ive worked for Boots and know what their expectation is; the service in this store is very, very far below that benchmark. Wouldn't recommend at all I'm afraid.

Got my flu jab here a few years ago and had a good experience! The nurse was kind and everything was done quickly. I felt nothing more than a tiny pinch!

A terrible experience with this shop. They refused to sell an inhaler to a person that was in distress. Pretty much letting a person experience an asthma crysis. Horrible customer service....

Would love to see more items that I see online as the Christmas offers they have hardly any items in store. I know it's a small shop but would love to see more items like Ted baker as there is only a small selection in there.
