My husband was suffering with excruciating pain from gout whilst visiting Ulveston and we popped into Appleseed's Health Store and the gentleman we spoke to was extremely helpful and the products we bought from him have given my husband instant relief!

Great independent store in Ulverston. You can trust that the products sold there are healthy and of high quality. It's got a great selection of good quality noodles, miso and kimchi which can't be soured at supermarkets. Staff are knowledgeable about supplements, vitamins, homeopathic medicine, etc. Also a great selection of grains, legumes, pulses, and spices. We get a large proportion of our weekly shopping from Appleseeds. Definitely recommend!

This is my favourite Health Food Store. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable regarding their products, they have an excellent range of products and are very much community oriented. I wouldn?t shop anywhere else as I?ve done a price comparison on several occasions and their prices are spot on. Thank you to all the Appleseeds Staff for helping me on my healing journey.

What rude people! Why work in retail if you just want to be unpleasant to your customers? Their self packaged goods are so thoughtlessly prepared so as to be impossible to open without spilling everywhere. Shop elsewhere!

Great products, but staff are very miserable, not just today on every visit they seem to be having a bad day, it would be nice to get a smile, or ANY reply when a customer wishes the staff a hello or goodbye. Shame.

Great supply of everything a health shopshould stock and sell, except it feels likeyou've stepped into a morgue during theSpanish Inquisition. I think planks of woodwould display more emotion and empathy. I went during the time where masks where mandatory, and they didn?t even have the decency to wear them. Such a let down as it could be a beautiful shop.Maybe different owners could revitalise it into becoming a thing of happiness, instead of a thing of dread.

The shop has so much variety but the staff are unbearable. Incredibly rude, they never smile & just not pleasant to be around. They need to hire new staff or change their bitter attitude

None of the staff wear masks to protect the public even now (at the time of writing this) when you are supposed to by law. Bit ironic considering supposed to be a health store and care about peoples health. During both lockdowns there were at least 3 staff sometimes 4 staff on the shop floor not wearing masks walking around. The shop is so small that it's impossible to stay 1 metre away. Like other Google reviews state, the staff look constantly unhappy and sometimes are rude. Boycotting this store as not worth the health risk or the bad attitudes.
