Absolutely fantastic and beautiful place to stay. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and accommodating! They upgraded our room from a four poster to luxury. This is mine and my partners first holiday together and we will be returning here every year. The views are amazing. The food is perfection! All round 10/10

We had a lovely dinner here, starting with drinks on the terrace with wonderful view. Both main courses and desserts were delicious and attractively presented. Prices were very reasonable and staff very friendly.Strongly recommend the Ravenstone Lodge, thank you.

En-suite extractor fan was faulty and had to leave the bedroom window fully open to get rid of the smells once anyone used the loo. Stains on dressing table seat and on the carpet. Furniture had been painted and was of low standard. Room, described as CLASSIC, was 10feet x 10feet.We were disgusted and left and even after several emails got no recompense for having to leave. This was paid in March and cost us £434 for 4 days.This is a hotel to steer well clear of. The manager and owner are lovely people until something goes wrong and unfortunately they can't see the customer's point of view.What a sad experience and will never be back.Rooms: Was told that the room had to be photographed with a WIDE ANGLED lens and that slightly flattered the room. They didn't tell us that it was only 10feet x 10feet or 3merers x 3meters.Noteworthy details: None

100% recommend. We came for my husband's birthday today and the service and food was amazing despite them being one chef down. They gave my husband a drink on the house and we even got to speak to the chef about how they make their amazing food! Both of them Geminis! We would probably stay in future beautiful views

Called at 4pm to book a table for 7.30pm whoever I spoke to was really friendly and said come down for a drink first. We got there for 6.30ish and had a drink in the conservatory.We had our 10yo and 7yo daughters with us and they loved having a little game of chess before diner.The two guys that looked after us were exceptional, they made my daughters feel special were so personable.The food was delicious and we thought really well priced.And to top it all off amazing views from our table!Thank you to the staff you are amazing.

We popped in by chance before walk up to skiddaw last week having caught bus from Keswick. It was 9.45am coffee machine needed a while to warm up but since we needed to get on our way the owner popped out from reception and offered us a cafetière. So we had nice coffee with lovely biscuits sitting in the conservatory. Perfect start to a great days walking. Just wanted to give feedback on our return from holiday since proprietor gave such excellent service.

Stayed at this magnificent hotel Coronation bank holiday weekend and had a wonderful stay. Staff were all super friendly. This hotel was so dog friendly our two little dogs enjoyed the comfort and attention.Our room was immaculately clean with beautiful views over the lake and fells. Great food and excellent service. We enjoyed our stay that we have re booked for the August bank holiday weekend.

Excellent hotel, all staff very nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for you even for all ogs staying. Overall experience was great and would recommend to anyone staying in the lakes, hotel and rooms very clean
