They didn't seem to be keen to serve tourists on the evening of Father's Day. Neither was the atmosphere very welcoming, hence we left after just one pint

Properly cosy, authentic village pub the like of which is an endangered species in the UK.
Please, please visit it, enjoy a pint or two and make sure it stays open.

Cracking traditional free house in the heart of a very nice village. It?s not easy to get to but it?s worth it. Really friendly behind the bar. About 5 ales on? One I had was lovely. Has 2 dart boards and 2 darts teams (Mr T plays for one of them) doesn?t do food but doesn?t miss it as beer is spot on and has character in abundance. Very highly recommended ? ? ???? ?
