Me and my family had a fantastic experience renting 2 kayaks and a rowing boat from Nichol End Marine today. All members of staff were very welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole process really easy. We were given an explanation of equipment available to rent and what would be suitable for us. We were also given the option to book online or as a walk in and provided safety information before taking the equipment out on the water. I felt safe and well-prepared before heading out on the water. The location was beautiful, and the staff provided advice where to explore first. Everything was smooth and stress-free, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I?d definitely rent from them again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day on the water!

I had an amazing time kayaking at Nichol End Marine. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly organised. Brilliant young lad at the reception went out of his way to show us what options were available with an exploration of how each work. They made the check-in process smooth and ensured we were comfortable with the gear and safety instructions before heading out.

Helped me put up my own paddleboard, provided us with all the equipment and advice we needed despite it being busy. My friends and I had an amazing time. Would recommend getting there earlier to find parking if the weather is good.

Loved it. Great little café at the marina which offers watersports rentals. Lovely seating area to soak up the lake land views, and people watch of course! Café does mega scones and homebake cakes with tea, coffee and soft drinks. Prices are excellent. Service is delightful. A brilliant stop on a Newlands Valley walk.

Fantastic place to hire kayaks and other types of boats. We went kayaking and had a great time! All of the staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating! I would highly recommend using them if you're looking for some fun on the water!

Just called in for a brew and cake while walking to catbells. Plenty of seating in and out overlooking the marine. Prices were good and the cake were large especially the scones.

Rented kayaks for three hours, enough to get most of the way around the lake. Super helpful staff, great location, good kit. We were a little late and they got us onto the water as quickly as they could, thanks
