Could this be the best shoe repair place on the planet, definitely. I took a pair of Red Wings in to resoled, Lee explained they'll need to be sent to the main workshop, which he did, he kept in touch, let me know when to expect them etc, in the meantime I'd returned to France, he helped out by sending them to a Timpson near where my sister lives, she picked them up, a perfect repair and perfect customer service. Absolutely first class.

Visited today with my 4 year old son who was a bit tired and irritable, immediately Lee brightened his mood and made the passport photo process a doddle!! Great experience and definitely went the extra mile. Thank you!

I needed a new battery for my watch, however I didn't expect to pay two- thirds of the cost of my Lorus watch on a battery that took two minutes to replace.I'm from Australia, and upon speaking with a lass from Carlisle, she said, "Do you know why Timpson's have large windows? So they can see you coming."Go elsewhere and get it done for A LOT CHEAPER.OK, they have their overheads, but people today can't afford to get stung.

Poor value for money. I was charged £13.50 to cut TWO mortice lock keys... when the whole genuine brand new Union 5 lever lock mechanism with its three keys was purchased off the internet & delivered 'recorded' for only double that at £27. Go figure!

Had my watch fixed here by a very polite man (Lee). The dial was damaged, bits floating inside. He wasn't sure if he could do it quickly but managed to get it up & running.Great service
