Finally our search for the perfect dresser and dining room table and chairs came to fruition. We purchased from a photograph on the website. They were even better in reality. Solid, restored and now reused oak - truly beautiful.

I was sadly put off by the gentleman?s attitude toward us.
Having recently purchased a farmhouse - I thought the furniture on sale would suit very well; it was exactly what I was looking for. Initially, I explained that we were looking for a pair of bedside tables (I didn?t even get onto the other pieces we were interested in buying too) - his immediate response was ?I don?t think your budget suits my prices? - I hadn?t even mentioned prices at this point! This was extremely rude and disrespectful to assume that we had a budget, let alone that his prices were above ?our budget? when we are very blessed to not require a budget. Because of this response, I did mention that we had previously purchased some cheaper, but only after the little swipe initially.
It was such a shame to be spoken to like this and I immediately left the shop. I will take my custom elsewhere.

Knowledgeable staff. We shopped in store. Wide selection of furniture for dining, living room, office and hallway. We added more furniture over the phone which was hassle free. Fast local delivery, we had the furniture within a week. Website seems to have everything they have on the shop floor. Parking just outside the building.

This is an amazing place for oak furniture. We have just bought several items ranging from dining room table and chairs to tv unit and numerous cupboards. The owner and his son are very enthusiastic and helpful and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for good quality, solid oak furniture.

Fantastic place. Just moved to Penrith and needed bedroom furniture. Had a quote from Sharps £4,300 for a 7 door wardrobe, 6 shelfs, no draws. Went to The Furniture House, saved over £1,300 and bought 1x 6 door long wardrobe with draws, a 2 door wardrobe with draws and shelf, another 2 door wardrobe with draws, chest of draws and 2 x 3 draw bedside cabinets. Great quality, looks fantastic, great staff and delivery took 24 hours not a 3 month waiting list like Sharps. 100 percent satisfied.
