Me and my partner stayed at the micro lodge over the road from here,Your food is amazing, we first got the fish and chips and pizza 10/10Then we got 2 fish and chipsI can honestly say it?s was the best we ever had! And your staff were so welcoming too.

We were staying at the lodges and thought we would try the food instead of cooking. The food was really nice and tasty and the staff were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed to food so much we book the following day for Sunday lunch. Which again was fantastic. We are coming back to the lodges in the summer and will definitely use the globe for our food needs. I would highly recommend the globe.

Didnt visit here but picked our keys up here to stay in a lodge nearby which they are clearly part responsible for. Got asked to leave a £100 damage deposit by the globe for the lodge before even seeing it. This wasnt stated in the terms of booking as we already payed a £20 weiver. Went to the lodge and was cold and damp and mouldy. Wasnt heated ready and was left with a tiny radiator and black curtains from mould. Due to being unable to stay in such a place due to disability we went home, but then because we wasnt attending globes new years party the day after due to going home they threatened to keep the £100 damage deposit! Which Holiday Cottages apparently know nothing about them doing this. Its been a week and still not reveieved the money back and having to go through a lot of complaints procedures. The globe are quick to say they arent responsible for the property but are just as quick for taking your money! And as for not giving it us back for not attending their new years party when this was taken for DAMAGES when we wasnt in the property 10 minutes is beyond a joke. The women from the globe was very rude and in my opinion is stealing money.

Easy to find enroute to scotland. Check in was messed up by me as i entered wrong year but receptionist sorted and had two rooms. Downside was the rooms are small and very cold. Heating turned on but draught from old window severely cold all night. Food in restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. Wouldnt heditate to stay again if the window was replaced in bedroom 1.linen was fine and bed reasonably comfortable.

Had dinner here on the 25th Nov with my wife and her brother and his wife . we were seated straight away , the staff were friendly and polite ,the food was very good and the atmosphere was very relaxing, would strongly recommend

Once again another great meal at The Globe. Can recommend the fish and chips and the steak pie. Service always friendly and beer very well kept. We'll be back for the monthly quiz if not before.

A fabulous lunchtime meal was enjoyed here. The menu covered a range of foodstuffs that satisfied us completely. The cooking and service received was top class, and coupled with a fresh real ale, what's not to like?

Came here for Sunday lunch. With our dogs quietly tucked in at out feet the four of us tucked into some amazing food. All cooked perfectly. Service was great, just the right amount of attentiveness. Had to try the desserts too and was the perfect way to finish off.
