I use Sainsbury?s for my main shop every week but lately it?s been so cold in there I?m thinking of using Morrison?s. I feel so sorry for the staff who need to wear several layers of clothes and fingerless gloves. Please do something to make shopping and working there more pleasant.

A great supermarket with a good selection of products. Generally shop here as it's one of the few who seem to stock all those random ingredients kids need for cooking lessons at school.
I would give it 5 stars as it's a good supermarket, however, the lack of changing facilities means I rarely buy clothing here as I can't try anything on and I live too far away to 'pop back and return items', therefore on that basis only I've gone for 4 stars as a changing room would be necessary for 5 stars.

Great to top up supplies before entering any holidays near by. Underground parking too great for the Cumbria weather.

Did our big shop here whole self catering in the area. Everything was here for us and the staff were nice too. Free parking while you shop. A cafe would be a nice addition.

The staff are extremely racist towards ethnic minorities will not be going there again. The security called the police to get us removed based on our colour and felt that we did not belong there and should leave. Obviously upon refusal police was called to have us removed.

Very difficult to find. Drove round and round Penrith asking 4 or 5 people for help to locate it. You actually have to find Penrith leisure centre and drive through their car park to get to Sainsburys.
The store itself is fine, it is large and sells everything you expect from Sainsburys. Just a shame that it is not signposted from the main road.

A decent branch of Sainsbury?s that?s easy to access within the town.
Parking is free to customers for a couple of hours.
The rest of town is also walkable from this store.
