I was looking for a reliable second car for my partner to learn to drive in and to shuttle our new puppy from the house to the park. Huttons stood out for me as they had a number of strong reviews with particularly good comments on how they managed any issues with cars post sale. Due to this I decided to go with them and purchased a 15 plate Insignia Estate in December.Unfortunately the car developed a few issues with an oil pressure warning light on a very cold start and a lack of power on motorway drives. I called Huttons and spoke with Eddie who apologised and told me to bring the car back to them, they won?t shy away from any problems and will make sure the car is as it should be.I?m pleased to say that although it took them some time to sort, they got to the bottom of any issues that presented and returned the car to a very strong mechanical condition. It?s always a true test of a dealers values seeing how they handle something that?s gone wrong and will cost them financially.Good to see that there are still some trustworthy dealers out there and I?d recommend anyone to buy from Huttons with confidence that they?ll support you in the unlikely event you have any issues.

Bought a Kia in march and had a couple of issues during the warranty period, where Hutton cars were absolutely brilliant in checking on the fault and repairing on each occasion, even supplying a car while ours was being repaired. Customer service was spot on. Would be more than happy to purchase another vehicle and recommending due to the aftercare we have received.

Bought a Citroen from here a few years ago but sadly can?t recommend! They said it would have a full service prior to leaving with me, but when I took it to my local garage he said the air filter was the worst one he?d ever seen and that it had clearly not been touched for many years! I also didn?t realise the car had about 5 owners until I got the log book! When coming to sell the car eventually a Citroen specialist had said it had been in a big crash at some point, done up and then passed on. I?m not suggesting this garage has done that, as it could have happened prior to them getting it, but it?s all very upsetting when getting a car is supposed to be a happy experience!

Spoke to Dean 2 weeks ago, told him what I needed. Went to collect this morning very friendly and got a great deal. If your ever need a nice car I recommend HUTTON'S. This is the 3 car I have bought from Dean .Cheers DeanOn Wednesday I was volunteering at Carlisle hospital and didn't feel to good and was heading home and I decided that I wasn't going to get any further.I called Dean and asked if he was close by. I gave him my location he arrived and put my car on the trailer and drove me to home. He didn't realise that I was having a stroke.I'm in hospital now but it's Dean Hutton that is the lifesaving Car Sales man and friend. Who was there no questions asked..THANK MATE

I had my car booked into Hutton's a few days ago for a replacement timing belt and MOT, one of their staff drove me home while the work was being done, then came and picked me up when it was completed.When I picked my car up, the total bill for replacing the timing belt, conducting the MOT test and replacing the front w/wiper blades was a pleasant surprise at a little over £300.I was most impressed by the courtesy of the staff plus the modest bill for the work carried out, and would certainly recommend Hutton's to anyone requiring attention to their car, and I will certainly be using them again in future.From a satisfied customer.Bill Brook.

Just bought my 4th car from here. The customer service is excellent, the car prices are competitive and I've never had any issues with any of the cars I've purchased from this lovely family business. Can't recommend highly enough.

Was told when I bought this car if I had any problems to contact them as they "take pride in their family business". After several problems over the space of 10 months I was told my warranty expired after 3 months and was offered no help whatsoever! Any repairs that are needed I could of paid for but didnt even get the option! Attitude on the day of purchase was disgusting also. Would not recommend.

Helped us enormously today when AA dropped us off after our car broke down. Car couldn't be saved unfortunately but great advice and guidance from all the staff. Whist we waited for our replacement hire car they even let us leave our bags in the garage whilst we went out to the shops for supplies. Special mention for Ed the mechanic and the ladies in reception for going above and beyond. Not from the area but if we were, we'd definatly be taking our cars to Huttons
