Had lunch here today with two friends. Very impressed. Food was gorgeous . Service was great, . Infact everything about the place was faultless . Beautiful setting , clean pub, great menu. I will be going back here and would recommend it as a fantastic place/ atmosphere to have a great meal and drink . Stafff very friendly . Commendations to the chef .

The food was excellent, tasty, and good portions. Unfortunately for us not dog friendly. We had to sit outside the garden, not great. There is nothing to protect if it rained. If you haven't got a dog, I highly recommend

A great local pub and lovely to see it so busy with people! Food was fantastic and reasonably priced and there?s a lovely selection of local beers too. There?s parking outside if you?re driving and the staff are nice.

Stayed in the village 7 nights and wasn?t able to use the pub. Dogs are not welcome.
You can?t leave dogs alone in rented hoiiday accommodation (and we wouldn?t want to), so that was that. Very surprising in a country pub.

A country pub that does not allow dogs in their pub. They turned away three paying customers. Also before we went to the pub I checked the Google map facilities and it had a tick against dogs allowed.

Fantastic food and a great pint. Ordered takeaway as we were staying up the road for the week. Friendly staff who couldn't be more accommodating. Cracking little shop on site as well. Will definitely be back for more when we are back up in the Lakes.

Lacks atmosphere during the day. When it's full it's great. Lunch menu is limited and not very interesting. Evening menu much better. Beer is nice, but no garden to sit outside in.
