Google and sign on the door said it was open and it was shut - so I wouldn?t bother travelling here. Why can?t businesses bother to update their opening times???? ?

We went for a drink on a Saturday afternoon, which turned into a meal. The staff were very helpful and squeezed us in although they were due be busy with bookings. The food was fantastic and very prompt. I had a chicken and ham pie that was delicious with great pastry. Would definitely go there to eat again.

Travelled out after checking opening times but it was shut.
Open according to Google, open according to the note on the pub but most definitely closed.
It's no wonder Inns like this are struggling. Open when you say you will and close when you say you are!!

We popped in on a Saturday afternoon which turned into a meal. Absolutely lovely staff behind the bar who were very helpful and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - I had a steak pie which was perfect. Would definitely recommend

I love finding an unassuming village pub that serves authentic fine dining food. Very well prepared and seasoned. The service comes with a warm genuine greeting and a constant smile. The furnishings are comfy and have class. Just awesome all around.

Lovely food. I had fish and chips which came piping hot. Proper home made chips and crispy battered fish. Very accommodating when I asked for garden peas and coleslaw instead of mushy peas. Oliver the dog was on hand to greet us. Didn't use toilet facilities so can't comment. Only down side was we were the only customers but it was 1.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff all very friendly. Even our dog lay down and relaxed which never happens

Called over to here for a takeout as we were staying close by, staff and landlord were very easy to talk too, very informative too. They also run another pub close by too which we didn't get chance to call in. Maybe next time..
The food was good, although they did get one order wrong that I only realside when I got back to my accommodation, our son didn't mind and ate what he got instead, big portions that I unfortunately had to finish off too. Lol
Nice little pub on the corner.of a junction.
Would definitely go back if we are in the area again..??

Dropped by on spec. Had a vet warm welcome and had a lovely lunch. Mine being a sweet potato and spinach pie and hubby had a chicken, ham and leek pie, lots of seasonal vegetables. Both delicious. Including drinks total bill under £37.
Parking: Convenient at the property.
