Gorgeous, historic village pub full of character with great ambiance. First time I visited they had great Guinness, but on both subsequent trips it was not good.

We stayed here for the weekend. Room was clean, spacious and had the biggest, fluffiest bath sheets I've ever seen. The breakfast was amazing and really set us up for the day. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the place has a genuinely lovely atmosphere. To top it off for us was that it is genuinely dog friendly. Had a lovely stay and will be going back in the autumn.

If you are like me that don?t eat red meat, you need to stop by and have their chicken burger - it is grilled and juicy and the sourdough bun is super nice .. staff is super friendly and service oriented .. and lovely atmosphere too !!

Went fora dronk after our bike ride. Sat at the front of the pub and got chatting to some local people.

We came to this place last year on our holidays and had high hopes as we enjoyed it last time round.
This time is a total different story, we were told by a rude member of staff that no food served outside , so we sat inside to wait over 30 minutes to even get served. We just got up and walked out in the end, service is absolutely poor and the whole place needs an over haul - cob webs galore! Don?t waste your time

Agreeable Public House atmos. Just the place for a sociable, relaxed evening meal/drink!
The Specials of chicken korma or chicken burger; on the money, but special mention must go to the vegan cheesecake; which is such a treat for dairy intolerant folk as well, and well worth a try by all.
They have a fly problem that needs more high-tech solution. Aging flypaper in the window not really doing it for man or beast!

Didn't use a hotel itself. The pub was nice but smelled like boiled beer. Food wise it was not a lot of choice but it was delicious.

Only giving 1 star because when we visit [ two visits on different days] the place is shut even though Internet says its open. Even tried to phone twice and only got voice mail. Was here last year when we were on holiday and had a lovely meal so thought we'd try it again. No idea when or if it'll be open again.
