What a hidden gem! A petite Wildlife Park but with a small yet quality range of animals! This place deserves to be supported, it could do with investment to help give it a bit of a face lift but did look to be having some work. The car park is small but adequate and you can literally see animals from your car it was mental! There's facilities for wheelchairs and prams and it's all accesable. You can get so up close and personal with the animals and pay for feeding experiences for a fraction of what some other zoos charge. There's lots of animal talks to attend throughout the day. Decent range in the gift shop (the animals own art is delightful) and the cafe has a typical range of snacks hot and cold but in no way did I think it extortionate and just what we needed to warm up on a cool Febraury Sunday! Can't wait to return and recommending it to everyone to give it a shot!

If you are visiting the area, don't fail to visit this little gem of an animal attraction. It is a lovely setting with a collection of beautiful and unusual animals, including a couple I've never seen up close before. Ever seen a Fossa? It's an amazing, sinuous looking thing. The place is family - run and I had a fascinating conversation with one of the keepers and her husband about the fantastic Snow Leopard.Do go!

I booked here to do the monkey experience. Upon entering the car park. Wasn't really sure what to expect. Just off the a6, seemed to be very quiet, not many cars there at all. When getting inside the main entrance, the staff on the tills great swiftly went through to explore. It's a great place to go.It's not the biggest of places by any means, but there's enough there to keep you occupied for an hour or 2. Plenty of picnic benches so you can take your own food. All the staff around were great and informative as well. The animals seem well looked after. The money encounter was great. Very informative, and it was great to be up close with them. Definitely recommend doing one of the encounters.

As someone who works in ecology and is generally concerned about animal welfare, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of care and attention put into the animals and their enclosures! Me and my partner visited for a few hours on Wednesday, and had a fantastic time! The keepers are fantastic for education, and were very knowledgeable and seemed passionate about the animals. I was excited to hear about their plans for the fossa and their hopes for their conservation and reintroduction as part of a breeding program. There was plenty of interesting enrichment and so many natural plants and trees in many of the enclosures , which should go without saying, but was still lovely to see. It was also great to see bigger enclosures in the works, despite having great enclosures. The cafe and gift shop were also very good, great chips!I 100% recommend visiting, but kind of want it to stay quite quiet!

This wildlife park is a little hidden gem! We went for a visit on a recommendation and were not disappointed! The staff are amazing and all of the exhibit spaces have interactive elements. Perfect for an afternoon out. They have snow leopards and fruit bats which fly free in the indoor exhibit. They offer bat nights too which look brilliant! Cafe was lovely with lots of choice and part of the cafe is attached to an enclosure. Please go and support them if you get the chance!

A lovely little mini zoo with plenty for the kids and adults to see.Our two (21/2 & 7yrs) really enjoyed it here, particularly up close with the lemurs.Takes about 1hr - 1.5hrs to go round depending on pace and interaction. There's a small cafe but I'm not sure what food they were selling as we didn't eat there and a shop. The kids got a quiz to complete and a little prize at the end.

Loved the place. It was just the right size for me to get around. Small and friendly. Great indoor area as well as outdoor. The children had lots of fun and reallt enjoyed the feed time talks as well. Food and drink okay, too. Nice little gift shop as well. Lots of interesting gifts and souvenirs. It was a little bit pricey, but there were a few smaller, less expensive items there, too.

We absolutely love this little gem of a place. Totally worth buying experience for, it's little for those legs that struggle with distances, lots to look at, staff are just lovely and it's our favourite place to visit all year round. The level of care for all the animals is lovely to see, stimulation and feeding, all animals look healthy and happy, could really recommend this place enough. Snow leopards are just beautiful and the Fossa. I'm not a fan of animals in captivity but lakeland have tried to recreate natural habitats and having all the animals use their instincts for food, unlike some places that just throw food in a bowl in enclosure. These keepers love their animals and it really shows

What a treasure is this place ?? entry is around £12 per adult, amazing value of money, lovely little zoo with lots of exotic animals you can?t really see in other zoos. For an additional £15 each you can be part of the feeding, feed either the meerkats, monkeys or lemurs, or all of them. Loved our time here, most enjoyable zoo ever, I could pet and touch and feed the meerkats, amazing experience, worth every penny.

We visited while on holiday on a weekday but engkish schools werent broken up yet so was lovely and quiet. Excellent animal park. Cafe is very reasonable. Animals look happy, fantastic array of animals & birds and they have great enclosures. Staff are fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable! One guy ( can't remember his name but only trained during lock down) gave us loads of information on different animals and took us to see the snow leopards as they had been hiding when we'd went past. We'll worth the admission fee and highly recommend !!!

Top blooming notch, loved every second of being here. Animals awesome. We spoke to someone about the snow leopards and they were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Scared the * out of us realising the bats were just on the ceiling but added to an excellent experience. If we are ever up this far north again, we will absolutely return!
