Busy, friendly, bit noisy...as the local football team came in, the tables outside were great, right opposite the rugby ground.Most importantly, the beer was a good pint, nicely kept!

Can be a busy, noisy place, but has good beer, reasonable prices and friendly staff and locals. No food at any time, just an old fashioned pub.

Walked in after memorial on 11th, we were immediately welcomed, great little pub with great customers, if you want a proper pub then this is the place to go.
