We called in a large retailer in Barrow to get a dryer when we were there to get a dryer. Nothing on the shelves was in stock to take away and the staff were pretty disinterested. We decided to try shopping local and Power World had exactly what we were after at a good price and we took it straight home. Lesson learnt.

Amazing customer service. We needed a replacement dishwasher urgently for a holiday cottage where guests were due in that day. We rang them and they kindly delivered and installed one within the hour! Really knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

Washing machine dies, goes into Power world buys another one. Could have had it same day but chose next day. They deliver, install and take away old machine free of charge!! That's service for you!! Would cost an extra £45 if I'd have ordered from AO for example. Definitley worth shopping local. Plus they're lovely people which makes the trauma of your washer dying easier to cope with!!
