This is one of the friendliest places I've been to. The cafe is wonderful with great food, excellent coffee and yummy cakes. The atmosphere is friendly, warming, relaxed and, depending on your mood, you can either be left alone or have a chat with the lovely ladies who run it or others.And the sewing materials are fantastic - with a great range.

This place is amazing; a bit like being around the kitchen table but with wonderful, friendly staff waiting on. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the food is homemade and delicious. The ladies who run this place are super; they read you very well and know just when you want to sit quietly, uninterrupted. Such wonderful people and a brilliant ambience.Oh and it?s a sewing, crafts, just about everything, sort of place too!Lucky, lucky Millom.

I cannot speak too highly of this community shop and service. Today they took a shaky and unconfident, long-dormant sewer to a possible seamstress. Sustained throughout with tasty coffee, lunch and cakes. Give them a go!
