Been to the golden lion a few times with the grandchildren. The food was OK, but now last week it seems to be getting worse , gransons, meal looked as tho it had been threw on the plate , my sandwich wasn't even cut in to nice triangles , presentation was not good , my chips were cold as tho they been left on the side .... read full comment

The hotel was welcoming and the food excellent. However, the room hospitality was poor. The basic toiletries were Lidl Anti-bacterial pump dispensor in the shower and sink. No shampoo or shower gel. No evidence of box tissues and the towels of poor quality and rough texture. We returned to an un-made bed on the second day.... read full comment

Went in for food only, food was of a very high standard, very tasty, excellent portion sizes, for a very reasonable price, desert was delicious, service… couldn’t fault, very prompt, and friendly, excellent meal, would definitely recommend! Many thanks
