Booked a Monday evening table, sadly we were the only ones in to eat. The starters were enormous and the mains equally big. They catered well for me, I’m gluten free, and were very accommodating. Very disappointing. No hot breakfast provided as was agreed in confirmation email . Chef sick and given continental breakfast . Asked for discount to reflect absence of hot meal. None given and no apology. Also sink taps in bedroom & bathroom tap/shower leaked . Would not recommend

Booked for 2 nights. We arrived to the hotel early and was told straight away that we wouldn’t receive a cooked breakfast on one of the mornings due to the chef being sick. Pennine Hotel is a family run business. We are a free house, serving a great selection of beers, cask ales, fine wines, prosecco and cocktails. We have a small bistro serving all homemade, fresh food with a touch of Italian. We have a fantastic, friendly team of staff that look forward to welcoming you.
