Needed a halfway stop off and was recommended this pub. Both had lamb and it was amazing, as was all the food we saw coming from the kitchen. Staff are lovely, loved the quirky car memorabilia and yes it's an old fashioned British pub whats not to love?!

Came here with the family following our hike to the waterfall. Had a very nice meal and the pub is traditional and has that authentic British pub feel.
Just one recommendation, don't be stingy on the cheese and chips lots of cheese is a must.

We had a fantastic meal at The Fat Lamb tonight ? Excellent food and excellent service in a great location. We will definitely return next time we are in Yorkshire ?

Feel more like a motor racing/RAC theme park than a pub with the excess of memorabilia covering every surface, a shame because it's an attractive bar. Friendly service and a few vegan options on the big laminated menus. Guinness not good.

Went in for a pint and some food after a walk.
The pints of Wainwright Gold were superb and the food was really good (Fish and chips and Scampi and Chips), and the Pickled onion rings were excellent.
All helped along by excellent service from the staff.
Well worth a visit....

Stayed with our motorhome to attend a family celebration. Lovely paddock area, water available. Friendly welcome, good food and friendly and efficient service. Walks from the pub with our dogs. We hope to return.

On holiday in area and did a circular walk from Ravenstonedale taking in the Fat lamb Inn as a halfway lunch stop. Real quirky place inside with car related items everywhere but very interesting. Staff all very friendly and well behaved dogs allowed inside. The sandwiches we had for lunch were the best we have ever had, so much filling , really delicious ? I had a prawn one and couldn't eat it all so they kindly wrapped it in foil and put in box for us to take with us, so can't recommend this place enough. The other food coming out looked really good also and very sensible prices. Our only complaint was we weren't staying close enough to go and enjoy an evening meal or two. Highly recommend.

A group from the S type and Area 17 of the JDC stayed here for 2 days as our base and visited all around the area great weekend was had by all Paul was the perfect host

A stunning setting for a very traditional pub, a nice place to drive too. Pub is motoring themed with lots of memorabilia on display, a must for any enthusiast. Food was really excellent and the service was spot on.
