A really lovely find on our holiday to the Carnforth area. Only 20 minutes away, the Lunesdale offered high quality food in a gorgeous setting with excellent service. Can't fault it. And as the only vegan in our family party for a Sunday lunch, I was well catered for without fuss or bother. A wonderful family meal out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend.

Place was cozy and the staff were nice! Food was a bit lacking unfortunately. We ordered the veg parmesan soup, the spinach and ricotta lasagna and flatbread. The soup was a bit bland, could do with some croutons and a softer sourdough like bread for dipping. The lasagne was too crusty, little sauce and could use more spinach as we only tasted ricotta. We ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert and that was an absolute hit! Perfectly moist cake, with flavourful toffee sauce, thoroughly enjoyed!

We called Thursday lunchtime as we where turned away from a close by rival restaurant being full. I am so pleased we called at the Lunesdale, and would definitely return. The service/ staff were so friendly and efficient in their service, the food was first class and plentiful. This is definitely a place for special occasions, but lovely for just a treat. The menu had a mixture of choices and I am sure you won't be disappointed. I had the chicken and chorizo tagliatelle which was amazing, my wife had the seafood linguini which she loved.

I can?t recommend this place enough! The food and the environment combined with the service makes this place an absolute must visit! Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and you get the best quality here! 10 out of 10.

Visited Thursday evening. We both had rib eye steak which was cooked to perfectton. Service was very good. We will certainly be visiting again.

Proper food!! And with excellent gluten free options available. The steak and stilton pies were full of flavour.
