Went into Platos last night with my other half and the two kids, can?t recommend this place enough. Inside is very nice and outside is stunning as well. All the food we had was amazing, the kitchen staff are great and I want to give a massive shout out to our server Ben who absolutely made our night, made us feel very welcome. 10/10

I can't recommend this place enough.
Jessica and Tony, the owners, were friendly and helpful from the moment my family and I arrived, and we left feeling very impressed.
The rooms were clean and well-furnished, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was immense and the evening food (and service) was superb.

Such a wonderful place? liv is amazing. She Gave us a personal touch that made us feel at home from the beginning. So rare, and so nice. Wonderful room, great food. Will definitely return again!

Took my family to Plato's for dinner Friday 20/6/25. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff,great service and fantastic food all washed down with a nice cold pint.

The cheese souffle with bacon jam is heavenly. Service in the restaurant is excellent.

Plato's is a good bar/pub that serves decent food. The main issue is how small the portions have become. In our last visit the trout size was embarrassingly small (it was about half of a fillet of trout) and the dish did not have the advertised crab cake. The duck was about half of a gressingham duck breast which was served with a single floret of broccoli. Some very obvious cost savings are in place and unless Plato's reduce their prices customers at the restaurant are being blatantly ripped off. Do not go there expecting to leave feeling full unless you are prepared to purchase numerous side dishes which seems unfair when paying £26 for duck or £30 for an 8 oz steak.
The bar decor and atmosphere is great but the new owners are getting the food wrong.

We had s fantastic experience at Platos. We ordered a mixture of dishes from specials and main menu and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The service was equally impressive. Friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. Atmosphere was lively but relaxed, perfect for a night out with friends. Can't wait to return.

Just had a fantastic Sunday roast dinner. Wonderful gravy, very tender beef and tasty veg. My friend had the tempura veg, she loved it. Very polite and friendly staff, chef was the Man. Reccomend Platos in every way.

Well this is our favourite restaurant no matter where we go just love coming back here again the food was the best tonight absolutely delicious seabass main meal with mussels and the strawberry hot mousse well out of this world with strawberry ice cream well I can say no more YOU MUST GO TO APPRECIATE THIS FANTASTIC FOOD

We come once a year to the Village of Kirby Lonsdale. Platos although a restaurant/bar have amazing rooms which are always up to standard and they also take dogs.... sadly this was our first time without the dog.
The food was lovely as usual and service was great too.
