On our recent visit to Kirkby Lonsdale we discovered this little gem of a bakery.... The bakery was amazing and we ate in in the dog friendly cafe at the back. I would recommend the cauliflower and mushroom soup and my partner had the Welsh rarebit which was so tasty. We bought some cakes to take home and everything we ate was incredibly tasty.

Amazing breakfast, came in this morning with 2 friends and all had a big breakfast with a latte which was very hot and lasted hit till the breakfast was eaten , great service and a lovely roaring fire on the go , definitely returning

Great homemade food. The menu is excellent and although there's sometimes a wait for a table it's well worth it. The best place in Kirkby Lonsdale for lunch. It's dog friendly too ?

Delicious food, quick and friendly service. Nice ambience, dog friendly.
Cakes looked amazing too but I was too full after my Rarebit which was served with a delicious side salad.

Called in kikby Lonsdale on way back from a few days away in silverdale ,on walking in the shop ,felt utmost a ease in friendly welcoming cafe in the rear of the shop, had amazing food and drinks, also welcoming our two springer spaniels, giving then a few dog treats ,the best place we've been to in ages

An Absolute Gem ? Outstanding Food and Warm Hospitality
We were recommended Lunedale Bakery as a lunch spot during our day visit to Kirkby Lonsdale, and what an absolute gem it turned out to be! Instead of heading to the chippy, we opted for this charming bakery/café?and we?re so glad we did.
From the moment we walked in with our two dogs, we were warmly welcomed and seated by friendly, efficient staff. They couldn?t have been more accommodating, even offering our dogs a treat which was a lovely touch.
My husband originally wanted a jacket potato, but they had just run out. Fortunately, the staff member who took our order suggested the special instead?and what a fantastic recommendation that was! He had prawns in garlic butter served on bruschetta with a house salad, while I opted for the fresh crab in crab mayonnaise on pesto-topped bruschetta, also with the house salad. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding?restaurant quality, beautifully presented, and very generous portions at very reasonable prices.
The building itself is stunning, full of character and charm, and the entire experience from start to finish was faultless. Dog-friendly, people-friendly, and serving genuinely top-quality food?Lunedale Bakery is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
