On a quiet evening, served very quickly, no queuing, however when we order 3 chips, 3 sausages, 3 gravy?s, we expect even the least efficient of McDonalds workers to get something like that right. Yet here we are eating just chips & gravy. Too far to be driving back now. Enjoy your extra profit today

Love this place, it has never let me down. Perfect takeaway, reasonable prices, and lovely staff. The lad on the counter was very kind. It can get busy and parking is slightly difficult but that's not the chippy's fault. Will definitely become a regular place I go to

Visited at around 18:30 on a Wednesday, fairly quiet, no longer has dine-in area as otherwise shown on some old photos, but excellent take-away service and food. Parked nearby on street (unlimited after 6pm, 1 hour limit beforehand, there are also pay-and-display car parks nearby and a bus service from Lancaster) and happily ate on wooden benches in nearby Market Cross listed stone structure.

Staying local saw this place on Google thought we would try out its was around a 6 mile drive from crooklands the food was cooked to order and was still hot when we got back to caravan site and I stopped for beer, fish n chips was delicious so to was battered sausage well worth a visit, friendly staff and the place looked very clean and tidy.

On entering the shop we noticed how spotlessly clean it was, which was a great start!
Our order consisted of haggis, cod, chips, halloumi bites, peas and gravy, all of which were delicious. Both myself and partner commented on how tasty and perfectly cooked everything was.
The food was prepared in good time by a friendly chap on the counter.
We were lucky to visit on a gorgeous sunny day and took a wander down to the river and ate on a park bench.
We would definitely recommend Jingling Lane Chippy and would without hesitation eat here again.

it was our first visit since the previous owners, the fish was white the batter was oily, the chips were full of eyes, and was expensive, v disappointing?Please check your chips before selling them

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, cod was perfectly battered and well cooked, chips were freshly fried to perfection in what must have been good clean oil. How can you not like this place.
Will definately be returning.
