Lucy and dan thats a good start, my last minute booking for christmas 2023 good timing on both of our side due to deciding to open for crimbo and me wanting to go where my heart fills every time and without hesitation i made the right choice ticked the box for christmas festive package felt i didnt want to miss out on munchies and what a surprise food/drink and company(other guests included). The hosts could not have done any better if fact to say a little too much but will take that every time all rooms which i visited including bedroom(teal for 1) were top class and given the name edwardene it has some lovely furniture and decor to take you back to quality while having all the mods i may waffle a bit and make no sense, im sure im going back there soon without doubt it will be my 1st port of call and hopefully christmas times will be a future opportunity

We have just returned home from a four night stay at the Edwardene. This was a last minute stay as our b and b that we booked had a boiler issue. I have to say from the minute we stepped through the door nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were very accommodating when asked if we could have a lighter quilt. We stayed in the apartment and it was beautiful. It had everything you could need for self catering.Breakfast was amazing too. Plenty of food on offer and we tried different breakfast items and all of them were lovely. Poached eggs were amazing! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk to the centre of Keswick. Lovely B&B. Rooms clean and warm with a lovely view. Hosts welcoming and friendly. Breakfast 10/10 Nice little lounge area where you can sit back relax with a little tipple (honestly box) and slice of fresh cake.

We booked The Edwardene at the last minute, having watched the weather reports for Keswick, and managed to bag the only available room. I will say that I checked for guest house availability on Booking.com but then booked directly online and saved about 10%. When you get the last room, you know it?ll be the smallest, but it was fine for 2 nights. Warm room, comfy bed, excellent shower, and a well-stocked hot drinks corner. Despite being at the top of the stairs on the first floor, we didn?t hear a peep from any other guests, it was so quiet. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked - the few minutes wait was worth it to not have to be faced with the usual buffet flabby bacon and stewed mushrooms. I?ll give a definite uptick to the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and the eggs Benedict with bacon. I?ve noticed that people complain about the car parking ?. If you?ve been to Keswick, then you know that only the big hotels have a dedicated car park. Everyone else finds their hotel / guesthouse and then drives round the neighbouring streets till they find a space. Make a note of where you?ve parked and you may well discover that later in the day you can shift your car to be a bit nearer. It?s free, which is a real bonus.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. Once we had got past the car parking problem, "free parking" ( on Booking.com web page ) means road side parking, where you can find a space. This isn't easy. The room was big enough, clean, warm and comfortable. Good en suite bathroom and shower. We were probably just unlucky being next to a room that a noisy bathroom fan, which came on about 3.00 am both mornings. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I would certainly book here again.

Stayed here for two nights last week with my partner. We were made very welcome on arrival. The little tour around the hotel on way to your room is a lovely touch. Room had a lovely view with everything you could need provided. Breakfast was beautiful and set us up both days ready to walk around the amazing surroundings.Nearby activities: Lovely places to walk near by .

A cut above the rest. The Edwardene is an immaculate hotel/BandB where personal service is provided. The rooms are furnished with top notch furniture, bathroom equipment and it appears no expense spared. Breakfasts are served personally, a rarity these days, and excellent attention provided. Cake and drink is provided on arrival (or the day after). Had a fabulous stay. The only slight issue is some rooms have low beams and tight for space but this is character in such a building. Car parking is street parking. Don't hesitate booking The Edwardene.

Excellent value for money. A very clean and comfortable room. Top quality toiletries. The breakfast is 5 star. Very professional hosts. Keswick centre is within a couple of minutes walk. We visited the cinema which is just around the corner.

Stayed here twice this year. I never go anywhere else. Everything was up to the usual high standards, starting with the warm welcome. The staff were excellent, especially the breakfast waiter, who was very efficient, calm and polite, even under pressure, when everyone turned up at once. It?s always like this at the Edwardene. Thank you.
