Food and service were great. With views over the lake district. It is a lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch and dinner.

We popped in this pub on one of our walks, and had a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord which was really nice. A lovely big outdoor seating area some of it covered. Seems very nice indoors too.
The Swinside Inn has offered a warm welcome in the Newlands Valley in the heart of the Lake District National Park for centuries.
Now thoughtfully restored under new management, this 17th-century inn combines carefully designed interiors with a reimagined beer garden framed by dramatic fells.
Our culinary team crafts menus that celebrate the Lakes with local ingredients and bold flavours.
Join us for a meal or a thirst-quenching drink after a day in the fells.
We also have twelve newly renovated rooms with some of the best mountainous views to be found anywhere in the UK. Catbells, Causey Pike, and Derwentwater right on our doorstep.
