Would have given 5 star for room if there had been good coffee. Also at breakfast no outstanding coffee even though the food was amazing. The dinner we had was one of the best we've ever had. The location is stunning. Some of the staff were grumpy at breakfast time but maybe because it's peak season and very busy for them.

Absolutely delighted with our stay at Ravenstone Manor Hotel! My partner, our dog, and I were thoroughly impressed by not only the excellent service for us humans, but the extra effort the hotel and its team put into making our dog feel just as pampered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure comfort, relaxation, and a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
The location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the stunning Lake District. Surrounded by picturesque villages and endless outdoor adventures, there?s always something to discover just around the corner. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, making it an ideal base for scenic walks and exploration with our dog.
The food and drinks were fantastic?whether you?re enjoying a hearty breakfast, a light afternoon snack, or a delicious dinner, the quality and presentation were top-notch. We also loved having a drink in the hotel?s beautiful setting, soaking in the breathtaking views from our room, which only added to the tranquil experience.
The staff were genuinely exceptional?helpful, friendly, and informative. They were always on hand with recommendations for things to do in the area and ensured that we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. It?s rare to find a hotel that caters so well to pets without compromising on the quality of the overall experience.
We are already planning our next visit and will definitely be recommending Ravenstone Manor to our friends, especially those traveling with dogs. It?s the perfect spot for a relaxing, memorable getaway in the heart of the Lake District. Highly recommended!

I loved staying at Ravenstone Manor. From its perfect location & gorgeous views to being central to Keswick but far enough out of town to feel like your in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant was amazing, the food incredible & the staff went above & beyond. It was super relaxing. Cant wait to come back.

What a gem of a hotel! If you?re a dog owner this one is not to be missed, our dog Dylan was welcomed as one of the family! The staff without exception were warm and friendly at all times, no wonder so many people return time after time! The bedrooms were beautiful, as were the dining room and bars, great wine and delicious food. We?ll be back Alison!!

This review is for the restaurant. Visited Ravenstone tonight as it close to where we are staying. All I can say is WOW. The menu had many things that we liked. The lady that greeted us was so nice, she served our drinks and took our order.
The food is presented to restaurant quality and there is nothing processed. All flavoursome foods that cause you to talk about how delicious your dish is.
Chicken supreme amazing. Everything excelled our expectations.
Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food and drinks.
What more could you ask for? Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I had an amazing time staying here and exploring the area, the staff were all really friendly and chatty which was nice for a solo traveller. The food is amazing and they were really helpful in my request for somewhere to keep my bike safe overnight. I'd recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxed break and some amazing scenery right on your doorstep.

We had the most wonderful and cosy stay here at the beginning of January with our Golden Retriever. The hotel is super dog friendly and you wouldn?t even think that any dogs had been here. There?s an excellent warm water dog bath outside to give those muddy paws are warm soak after a long walk. Each morning our dog had a cheeky sausage from the kitchen as we ate our breakfast. The staff were amazing and friendly, even upgraded our room to one overlooking the lake (as the hotel was a little quiet). Great selection of drinks and the food was incredible. Different lounge areas to find some peace and tranquility whilst looking out of the windows to the amazing views and sunsets. It was so good that we?re heading over this week for another break. Can?t wait to get there and relax!!

Lovely little hotel with superb staff, great food and cosy rooms.
Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff, the quality of the food each evening has been brilliant and standards of cleanliness spot on.
Our bathroom was a little tired but I couldn't bring myself to deduct a star for that as everything else has been lovely - and dog friendly too.
Altogether a wonderful stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return - thank you.

We have just returned from a two night stay at Ravenstone manor. The hotel is in a really lovely setting with amazing views from both our room and the terrace and garden. Which was a lovely place to sit and have a drink before dinner. There is ample parking. Our room was a small double on the top floor, the bed was small but comfortable, the bathroom needs a little tlc and the shower pressure needs to be improved. That said it certainly didn?t detract from our stay. We ate at the hotel both nights once in the restaurant and once in the bar, the food was so good (large portions). Compliments to the chef! The staff were lovely very friendly . Looking forward to our next stay.
