First class service. Very friendly and professional throughout, Alex recomended a pair of Salewa boots but I did not have the need to wear walking boots until this weekend 24 and 25.2.2024. They are without doubt the most comfortable and lightweight boots I have owned in over twenty five years.I also bought a pair of lightweight Aku walking shoes beforehand and they too fit perfectly and are uber comfortable.Both pairs are extremely well made and 100% waterproof.To summarise, don't entertain anywhere else if you are in the Lake District. Go to the Keswick Boot Company if you want a high quality product, with a professional and very friendly service.

Went in as a walking boot novice (usually stick to one brand because.... well no idea why!) and received wonderful service and support guiding me through options and what the difference was between boots and what to look out for.Very happy with the service and my new boots! I'll definitely be back again when I want a second pair.Well behaved dogs welcome too which Reggie greatly appreciated.

I live in West Wales: popping in not an option. I needed a new pair of walking boots, so phoned for advice. I spoke to a lovely lady who was really knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to understand what I needed, and saved me loads of money by not over selling, and making me waste money on a bunch of features that I didn?t need. She could easily have done that! I ordered on her recommendation, and 2 days later the boots arrived, and they are great. Tried them on, perfect fit and very comfortable. Not walked in them yet, but I have no doubt they are just what I need. I will never buy a pair of walking boots from anywhere else!

I visited the team in early November 2023 with a battered pair of much-loved Asolo walking boots and was met by really kind and friendly staff who took the time to share the various options I could consider.I left to do some research on resoling the boots but, after being really impressed with the unbiased advice I received, decided it was time to invest in a new pair and support a local company.The Keswick Boot Co have a solid range of quality walking boots and footwear, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a genuine passion for their craft and the outdoors.My best friends have purchased new walking boots from them in previous visits to Keswick and I later found out that my brother has bought 5 pairs of climbing shoes from them over the years as well.Pretty impressive to have a local company with a national reputation and customer base but I can absolutely see why.Thanks so much and I look forward to dropping in again whenever I visit the area.

Had a very hard use case using boots for environmental work 5 days a week and had some trouble with fitting boots in the past - but this store was fantastic. Super kind staff and great fitting service meant I got a boot that fits like a glove. I did have an issue with the boots leaking prematurely, but this was due to a fluke issue with the boots and no fault of the store - I brought them back and was again seen too kindly and quickly to sort it out. Great store, very kind and knowledgeable people, can't recommend them enough.

Keswick is probably the best place in the country to get a pair of hiking boots and this is, without doubt, the best boot shop in Keswick. We were there for ages making sure we'd got the right boot. They are so friendly and knowledgable. A great experience and months down the line we are delighted with the boots we got. It's really important to support great independent shops like these or we'll lose them and we'll have to buy badly fitting boots off the internet instead!

Fabulous shop. Great service, very knowledgeable owner who takes time to understand your needs and make suggestions. Good stock/size levels compared to some of the other shops in town. Never felt rushed or pressured despite there being quite a few people in shop. Very happy customer ?

Emergency bought some boots on the coast to coast that had to be put into immediate use. Really helpful guidance from the staff - 2 years on still incredibly happy with my excellent boots. And they got me through the coast to coast with zero issues!
