PSA ? If you?re in Keswick and NOT going to Java Coffee Shop? wyd?! ?? I basically sacrificed my body to science ? and tried 8 different coffees around town (yes, EIGHT ?) and Java came out on top ??.
Oh, and let?s not ignore the chocolate-coated fruit & marshmallow skewers ???? ~ pure happiness on a stick???? ???

I had their pistachio & caramel cake and blueberry smoothie. Both are super yum, especially the smoothie - very refreshing for summer.
The only thing is slow service because of big traffic of people.

Messaged owner Adele who said they always had vegan cakes so called in today. Had the most amazing vegan coffee caramel slice and coffee...It's a small cute and cosy cafe for chilling....Lovely friendly staff too...will definitely revisit as they have loads more vegan cakes to try ?

Great local coffee shop. Really broad selection of drinks and cakes pretty much for any taste or dietary requirement.
It is fantastic to see that the stupidity of the paperstraw hasn't made it to Java Coffee Shop. We enjoyed two iced lattes without the fear of a dissolving straw!

Busy but super efficient staff will find a seat for you if one is available. Coffee very good, sweet stuff also very nice.
