Usually Wetherspoons is a great no frills cheap drink and a meal? this one despite the great spot isn?t worth visiting. Extremely rude and disrespectful duty manager. Shocking customer service. Will be writing to head office. Sub par food and all delivered wrong, when we politely asked about the incorrect items we were removed and barred for ?sitting in the way of the fire escape?

Super busy all year round. You will struggle for tables at 'after hike' peak times, do not rely on it, but great if you can table, standard spoons prices, service and atmosphere.

Love Wetherspoons, and visit them very often, food is always very good prices and staff normally very happy and helpful, food standard can vary depending on the staff who makes it, has a good lively pub environment, but it doesn?t ever play music, good for a night out as well

What a great Wetherspoons.Good service.The all-day vegetarian breakfast was good, as was the real ale, with a decent choice.Two meals, three drinks , £21.Sat in a cell.

Very rude bar staff two women in particular almost walked out i was that taken a back with there attitude prices are good and pub is lovely but the staff need to be a bit more friendly imo

Came in here for our evening meal. Found a table, ordered on the app and the food arrived quickly. The food was good and tasty. Does what it says on the tin.

Must be the wetherspoon minimum standards to serve the breakfasts cold. Another minute in the microwave would have made this perfect but cold beans on a Saturday morning aren?t ideal. I suppose you can?t expect your food to be hot when you?re only paying £5 for it.

Shocking please.Nipped in for some food, decided on the mixed grill and asked for my steak to be cooked well done...! The lady asked me if I wanted all my food well done. ?Told me it all gets cooked for the same amount of time because they are busy, glad I didn't ask for a blue steak ?

I was impressed by the design of the pub, it is same like you were in the court of justice. It's amazing.The food was tasty and well presented. The service was fast, and the staff is friendly and nice. An odd building with lots of little spaces, it must have seemed interesting to the designers for Wetherspoons. We went in 3 times and only stayed once, as it was so busy. There were tables and chairs available but the tables hadn't been cleared and other users had piled up empties on them. I know W pubs are usually under-staffed and the signs outside advertising roles and pay rates were further proof of the difficulties here. So, to be fair, hospitality is hard to staff and so is The Lakes, so it's a double whammy for W - but, surely, a national operator on their scale should be able to do better.

Just a regular weatherspoons place. Family dining is a big bonusIts cheap and cheerful. Went in on a Sunday lunchtime and was able to find a table.Toilets are located upstairs and we're nice and clean at that time. That's is for the women's toilet, hubby says the mens were disgusting, but that probably had more to do with men are grossThe tables are mildly sticky and the whole place was looking worn.You can order food and drinks on the app, which is lovely

Wetherspoons is cheap! It isn?t fine dining but the food was nice, filling and came quickly. We ordered on the app and the food and drinks arrived at exactly the time the app said. We were told we could order at the bar too. The building is really interesting. You can have a table in the dock or in the cells. We had a table in a little room with wood panelling. For the price the food, drinks and quirky, historical building was great.
