We pre-booked as a large group of 17 for a late breakfast. I was blown away with the service received. Orders were taken promptly and food served quickly. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was. Highly recommend!

Popped into Stanley?s for lunch while in Kendal shopping. We were seated quickly and it wasn?t too long before our order was taken. The drinks came quickly and after a short wait our meals arrived. We had both ordered the salt and pepper chicken skewers and were not disappointed. 2 succulent chicken skewers and fried halloumi bites served on a toasted flat bread with mixed leaf salad and a spicy mayonnaise, complemented by a side of fries served in a metal mug.We both enjoyed everything on the plate and at £32.35 thought it was good value. The restaurant got really busy just after 12 O?clock and we heard a few tables that were seated after us being told there would be a wait for food. But would recommend this place as the food is worth the wait. We will definitely be returning.

A delicious lunch with work colleagues. Several of us had the Katsu Burrito and another the BBQ Chicken Wrap - all were very tasty, well presented and the portions sizes were spot on - I have lunch a couple of times each month at Stanleys and have never been disappointed

Called in for lunch whilst in town.Food was great. Only negative was, I really don't like eating food off a wooden board with a piece of paper under the food. It's a bit old school now. Much prefer a proper plate, you know has been through a dishwasher. Paper got really soggy and did start to break up.Service was good and the place was quite busy.

We had the festive ?? afternoon tea, and it was delicious, lovely food, staff, and decorated surroundings. This is my second after tea here! 10/10 would definitely do again!

Hot afternoon tea was lovely for my hubby treat for him. Staff were lovely. Service was excellent from staff. I would highly recommend the hot afternoon tea.

Trips to Kendal are highlighted by a Coffee and snack at Stanley?s. Staff always friendly and helpful. The coffee made to Farrers best standard. Always hot and consistent in texture and flavour.The bacon pannin as good as you can get. Freshly prepared- not some tired pieces warmed up out of a box!!A real asset to the town.
