Today just before closing, I witnessed the sales assistant tell a customer who was returning trainers in perfect condition, with packaging, within 28 days that they can't get a refund, only credit. Nope. The customer was entitled to a refund.
Also the parking restriction of 45 minutes is not good especially for someone with mobility and when the fitting room is and at the very far end of the store upstairs.

Spent over a Hundred quid in Sports direct in Kendal on a Sunday morning. When I got home a got a parking ticket . Bad for business I've told all my friends at football teams never go there.

Worst place to shop if you want any kind of customer service. The children who work there seem annoyed that they have to do any work and the old people running the place seem to have given up on life all together.

Lancaster store;appalling service over charged for apparel and store refused to honour their own price tags and receipts, rude staff attempted to intimidate me. Reported to trading standards.

Used this store for years never had any issues. Tried to return a faulty pair of trainers with a manufacturing problem. Store manager wouldn't even listen to my problems just basically ignoring me refusing to help. I spend a small fortune in this store over the years hand on heart can say wont be returning and putting in a formal complaint.

Good to look for a decent pair of trainers especially for someone like me who does a lot of sports, like running and cardio, i am definitely going to pop in and look for a new pair my old ones are falling to bits.)

Good selection of stock at typical SD discount prices. The hard part is buying it, dreadfully short staffed and the ones that are there have the personality and vocabulary the zombies from the Walking Dead.ZERO staff upstairs, novices serving themselves hiking boots. Their Karrimor range has boxes of different sizes you can access but the better brands you need to ask a member of staff..Shame. Good stock levels, good prices, poor staff
