Been coming here for a long time. Since it was king-size doughnuts, although I don't know if the same people run it. It has been consistently good for all these years. A personal favourite is the chicken roma baguette. Chicken, mayo, mozzarella and little bacon bits. Comes with salad on a fresh baguette. The baguettes are amazing. Crisp in the outside and soft inside. The filling is plentiful and you can just ask for whatever you want in it and they will accommodate. They do hot chicken and stuffing but it does run out. The cheese lattice is very very nice too. Staff are great too. Highly recommend

Was recommended to come here by a colleague to get my lunch , however the gentleman that works there was very rude , I only came in to get a jacket potato but the man that was serving me had his back turned to me and aggressively said we haven?t got any and then walked away , other customers was watching and I felt very embarrassed and left , would definitely not recommend this place to anyone

Bought a baguette filled with 95 percent lettuce and topped with a very minute amount of filling spread over the top to make it look full. Complete rip off and won't return again.

I had been told that this place did really nice baguettes. Granted the bread itself was really lovely. I ordered a chicken Korma baguette. The ?chicken? part was non existent. The ?chicken? korma was in fact a load of salad cubed with sauce running through it. I was that disappointed I actually went back in and said how disappointed I was to have paid for chicken to have received a salad baguette and that I had been really looking forwards to trying their food. The male behind the counter was extremely rude telling me that it was all at the bottom of the bag. The only thing at the bottom of the bag was more salad. He then continued to be pretty rude walking off grumbling with his back turned. A simple apology would have sufficed. If I?d have been paying for a salad sandwich I?d have been perfectly content. Oh and received friendly service. It is nice to see from the reviews I am not the only one who encountered this rude man.

I went to Food to buy three baguettes as I like to use local independent shops. As I have a dairy allergy I politely asked if the baguette was dairy free. The answer was unbelievable!!! ?If you have an allergy then this isn?t the shop for you?.He was so rude ( which showed in his voice and his face) his own staff stopped and looked on in disbelief! I?m not serving you? he said. I couldn?t believe what he was saying!! Again it came ?I?m not serving you!? It?s a disgraceful attitude to have towards a person with an allergy and I felt really discriminated. He has lost my business and many others won?t be going there again either.

I am absolutely gobsmacked! Asked if the bread was dairy free and was told (in an extremely rude manner) that this was not the shop for someone with an allergy and point blanked refused to serve us! How can someone get away with this discriminatory behaviour is beyond me. We will definitely not be stepping foot back in there!

Whilst this wasn?t involving me directly I felt urged to review. I have just been in to buy my lunch and the lady next to me wasn?t quite sure what she wanted. The older male staff was nothing short of rude. He mumbled, turned his back on her, when she asked questions he replied without turning around and mumbled, she couldn?t hear then clearly out of obvious frustration he said he was serving the male behind her. She was left stood there embarrassed and when he did get round to serving her again his attitude was the same. Turning his back on her and asking if she wanted this and that as extras with his back to her and she clearly couldn?t hear hun What an awful attitude this male had. Shame as my baguette was great. The queue was out the door so this place is clearly popular. But come on now, respect your customers as they are what are making you

Lovely little sandwich shop, that sells sandwiches, soup, salad boxes, jacket potatoes sausage rolls and pasty's.Have a great range of fillings and can create your own combination, can also include saladbuns or baguettes available and also includes salad of your choice.Also sells cold drinks and a few cakes.Staff are warm, friendly and welcoming always happy to meet your needs if they can.? Amazing value for money don't kowhow they keep them so cheap. ?

Very disappointing service here today, will not return and wholeheartedly reccomend the variety of alternatives nearby that offer a more pleasant experience.
