I?ve recently bought an MX5 from this garage and from my first visit to this garage felt really welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. They made it a pleasure dealing with them both buying and selling my vehicle. James dealt with most of my transactions and regularly kept in touch with me to keep me updated on my purchase. I also spoke to Martin on a couple of visits and his whole team made this feel like a family run garage that you would want to recommend to people. I had excellent service throughout the whole purchase experience. Christian was efficient, warm and not at all pushy. This really matters to me as a buyer. The showroom is smart and welcoming and the location convenient. I would not hesitate to recommend this branch of Mazda. I am delighted with my new car and, from past experience, know the service team at Kendal are also excellent.

I recently purchased a used BMW on behalf of my mother in law from David Hayton, Kendal. I have to say the experience was excellent, I made initial enquiry through Auto Trader, and was called back by Martin in a short space of time after submitting the form, he was very helpful and pleasant on call. I viewed the car at the Kendal location and James was looking after us, he was very polite, helpful and professional all the way through process, he put Mother in law at ease and explained fully all the forms which had to be completed, with him doing all the work.All the staff we engaged with were very helpful including the lady on the service reception who moved things around so we could get the car soon as possible. On the day we picked up the car, it was clean and well prepared. I think we got a good deal and would definitely use this garage again due to the deal we got and the staff attitude and professionalism. Well done to the team.

I bought my first car at David Hayton and couldn't have asked for a better experience. John was so helpful and attentive from test driving to talking me through the transfer of ownership, and the team was great with following up with me afterwards to make sure everything was ok. It made the experience very smooth and easy.

After a bit of a disaster purchasing a used Mazda from another dealer, the vehicle was taken to David Haytons at Kendal. Heidi took on the task of the repair and got it completed in a friendly and professional manner despite having a mechanic off and also kept me fully informed throughout the process. They also collected me to pick up the car which was a very pleasant surprise.

Took my vehicle here for an urgent safety recall which was booked in and the staff were very helpful. On the journey home my car has since developed an electrical fault which they take no responsibility and want to charge me for the privilege of looking at.... avoid like the plague.

Brilliant service. Took the newish car back to Mazda after it developed some scratches and made worse my trying to rub them out. Heidi and the receptionist team were excellent and after leaving the car for a hour returned to find the car was back to its shiny best! Special mention to Steve the valeter for his advice and doing the job.Thanks to all concerned.
