Absolutely brilliant service from Michelle in Kendal Boots opticians. Professional, polite & friendly. Really knew her stuff. Faultless. John too was great. Very informative and gave me a good understanding of my eyesight quality & standard. A good selection of frames of which Michelle helped me make my choice with confidence, giving her honest opinion on how they appeared on me. A very smooth appointment, on time and not kept waiting at all. Michelle & John made it all a very pleasing experience. 5 stars? Nah, 10 more like! ?

The ophthalmologist I saw said I needed new glasses to protect a cataract. I knew I had cataracts but he said there was no point replacing the 2nd one as it?s a lazy eye. A previous ophthalmologist told me that although I have a lazy eye it meets driving requirements. Therefore I am confused as to why it isn?t suitable for lens replacement. The lady who helped me choose my new specs was brilliant, and couldn?t have been more helpful.

Each member of staff I met was professional, helpful and welcoming. The optometrist was fantastic. She was so generous with her knowledge and provided clear explanations around changes to my prescription and the implications for my glasses/contact lens use.
I was a little short of time but wanted to purchase a new pair of glasses. The lady who helped me was excellent! Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to ensure I had all the information I needed in a concise and friendly manner. The whole team at Boots Kendal are consistently outstanding.
