Very disappointed this week . I have no problem doing my own business banking with meeters and Greeters watching over your shoulder.. but when one uses her laptop to hide her face to whisper to her work mate then giggle ? is just rude

Went into Barclays bank with my partner who banked there, he had several banking issues and also needed technical support.
We saw Lee who was extremely helpful, calm, respectful and patient especially as the issues took a while to resolve.

A very friendly gentleman served me today he was very helpful and got me all sorted with my enquiry very quickly!! The lady's also offered me assistance and was also very helpful and kind!! Overall I would say this was one of the best barclays experiences I've had!! Well done team 10/10

The Laundry Shop in Kendal only takes one pound coins and they do not offer them in the shop, so I was told to go to a bank to exchange my pound notes for pound coins. When I arrived at Barclays Bank on the High Street and asked the teller to exchange my two twenty pound notes for 40 one pound coins, she asked if I had an account.I explained that I was a tourist and had just driven two and half hours to reach Kendal and I needed to do laundry. Since I did not have an account at Barclays, she told me in no uncertain terms that the bank policy did no allow her to exchange my notes for coins. So I asked to speak to a manager. The manager reiterated that the bank policy was to NOT to exchange money, notes for coins, to anyone that did not have an account at the bank.For an organization whose singular purpose for being is to exchange money, shame on Barclays for enacting such a stupid policy.

Super helpful staff, as efficient as the Barclays corporate machine allow them to be. Make daily banking for small local business as pleasant a chore as its possible to be. The local touch goes a long way to alleviating the frustration of dealing with a large bank.

I know we have a great big problem with social distanceing.but "come on " Barclays,45 minute wait to get served,with people coming off the machines.in front of me,only to jump the queue I was already in...I think Barclays should reconsider scraping the machines to bring the personal service back to their customers

Just shocking,I am Natwest customer, at 6 pm, insert the card in Barclays Bank Kendal in the center, the machine dind't give me anymore my card. So from 6pm i didn't get any money to pay the fuel,I had an appointment, I had to postpone everything because of this bank, now tomorrow instead to go to work I have to block the card and get a new card, I'll have to wait 1 week.Who will pay all these dammage now !!

Great improvement - no long queues. I can just deposit cheques at the machine and get a receipt which copies the cheque and the paying in slip. All good.

The bank themselves and staff have always been great. Helpful and motivated. The bank has undergone a complete revamp and opened yesterday, I have to say the tired old Barclays of Kendal is now gone! They have instant cash machines that you can deposit up to 200 notes in and take out up to £2000 in one transaction straight from your debit card! Vast improvement I say. Place looks great too
