Ordered a streamline curtain rail arrived only to find one of the stop ends missing unable to get one instore which strengthens my opinion that you cannot ever find what you want in store.

I was so impressed today. When looking for a sander replacement part , I nearly walked away in frustration since I was in the middle of a DIY job. Steve showed me where else to look then fixed a hole in a bag of grit before lifting it into my car.Many thanks Steve.

I love visiting B&Q, so many useful things, and I am inspired by the range of products which lets me create new things for our home. Wide range of tools and accessories, fixtures and fittings, paints, tiles and wallpaper. Good choice of sheet and strip timber products and doors. Also lighting ideas with them on display and lit so you can see the proper effect. Flat pack kitchen and bathroom units at reasonable prices, good range of bathroom fixtures, basins and kitchen sinks. Large garden section indoors and plants etc outdoors. Also sells sheets of clear acrylic for glazing or covering over things to protect them, and surprisingly they also sell toilet rolls and paper towel rolls.

Visited B&Q Kendal to collect wallpaper we'd ordered. The staff at this store are brilliant, really helpful and courteous. Thank you Tony and Maisie for your help with the bathroom cabinets we also bought. We'll be back when we're ready to plan our kitchen!
