Absolutely fantastic site . Brilliant greeting on arrival , owners extremely friendly & helpful . Toilets lovely & clean . The shower rooms outstanding ! Very quiet & peaceful site . The views were beautiful. Definitely 10/10
Frank the owner very helpful on arrival & during our stay . We had good chats with him he is a proper lovely gentleman. The whole family made us feel very welcome & were all lovely . Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Only came home 1 day early because of our great Cumbrian weather ! (Those that know .... know) !
Will definitely be back again .

It was only an overnight stay before heading into Windermere so luckily we weren?t there long. Views were lovely but the facilities were something else? two toilets/showers at the back of the cafe which were not clean or usable to any standard. At £30 a night it?s not much to ask for! Then the drinking water taps which were available to caravaners.. the water was cloudy!! We asked two other couples staying on site at the time who said ?They didn?t notice until then?. No reflection to the cafe as the food looked lovely and our Biscoff Rocky Road was the only positive to our stay! But the campsite needs some serious looking into too. Never again.
