We stayed in the galley room. Beautiful views across Morecambe bay. Staff friendly and attentive although at times seems to be only one member coping with everything. Breakfast included. Walked in a decided it wasn’t the place for me. Says it allows dogs but dogs aren’t allowed upstairs in the restaurant.

Went to watch Euro Finals. Expected large crowd so booked table. Place was less than quarter full. Customer was abusive to bar staff and police called and arrested him. Apart from that no atmosphere.
The Commodore Inn is a pub and restaurant with 6 en-suite rooms. Located on the edge of the lake district, overlooking Morecambe bay, we serve traditional pub food with a twist, sourced locally from in and around the Lakes. Our menu is updated regularly offering fresh seasonal produce. We have a newly refurbished restaurant which boasts beautiful views of the bay, perfect for dining, parties, special celebrations, or even a quiet meal for 2. We always welcome families and children. Dogs are also very welcome in our bar area.
