Absolutely useless, mess my mother-in-law?s and my prescriptions up every month. Diabetic nurse doesn?t do what she says she?s going to do. Worst practice I?ve ever had the displeasure of.

When you ring up, at any time throughout the day, the recording now is ALWAYS "The surgery is now closed". It's absolutely ridiculous!!

I have a complex and life-threatening medical condition. I have to buy my own medicine privately otherwise I will die. The current waiting time to receive this same medicine from the specialist clinic in Newcastle is 7 years (4 years for consultation, another 3 after that for a follow-up appointment to be given a prescription).Because I am on this medicine, I require blood tests to monitor the risks associated with the medicine and to check that the medicine is doing what it is supposed to do. However, the GP (Dr Stevenson) refused to put me in for blood tests because he "does not condone" me taking my own privately-obtained medicine. He said this is because there is a "risk of harm" from me taking privately-obtained medicine despite the fact that I would be dead by now if I didn't take this medicine. I am not willing to stop taking my medicine because I (obviously) do not want to die, however, he is not even willing to put me in for blood tests as a form of harm reduction so he, and the rest of Westcroft, are clearly not fussed about my health at all.The GP is best avoided if you have anything more complex than a cough. They don't want to do their jobs.

The surgery has been excellent throughout the pandemic with phone and face to face consultation. I feel the needs of myself and my family have been met with expertise, empathy and compassion. From reception to nursing, healthcares and medical staff. All are brilliant. Thank you

Not managed to get an appointment once, in the last 6 months. Either the line is busy. Or you do get through, listening to their automated voice over. To then be cut off, back to square one.

Sat in an empty doctors for well over an hour, staff looked like they didn?t care and just let the phones ring on and on. Would not recommend

I don't live in Egremont but have had occasion to use the surgery when staying with family. I found the receptionists friendly and the doctors kind and caring. I really like the appointment system which means you'll be seen on the day. Living in Buckinghamshire, such efficiency is a novelty to me!

This is my local doctors, has special wheelchair access but is quite cramped inside especially on an open surgery, receptionists helpful & friendly as are the doctor's & nurse's.
