Friendly staff, convenient location. No car parking but plenty of on street parking providing you have a parking disc. Lots of cheap frozen and fresh produce.

Overall, I have found the Egremont store to be the best Heron store around. Whilst the stock is much the same in all the stores, the difference is the staff. Helpful, friendly, cheerful and pleasant, is how I would describe all the staff members.

Over all good all round store, although you can't do a full shop there unlike the big supermarkets, the only bad point for me is when I've got something from the value section of the freezer I would call it. It's happened a number of times now, where I've got something I really liked, but once they've gone, they don't seem to replace them, there's always something different, witch is good for variety, not so good when you really like something you can't then buy again ?

Even though we have a more local heron's in Whitehaven we like to have a change and drive to this store on the odd occasions.The staff are just as friendly as our store and are ready to assist you if you need them. There's only the one disabled parking outside at the front of the store but a large Carpark just around the corner with disabled parking spaces there and not too far to walk /ride from once you have parked up. We will definitely be calling again soon.
