Joined this practice in oct. Was sent to hospital for x-rays 1 week later. Since then every appointment that has been made has been cancelled and rescheduled the latest one being today when I phoned to ask why I was told because they don't have a dental nurse? How can a dental practice not have a dental nurse. Rang another dentist today and have an appointment on Friday. Will not be returning here again.

Having problems accessing my account so I am using my husband's with his permission - I'm Helen.I had a really bad toothache and was referred to this practice as an emergency patient. Never again. I was persuaded that I was simply using the wrong toothpaste and that was that. The pain didn't go away and two weeks later I had the tooth extracted at another surgery as it was cracked and had an abscess.

In hands of Bernabe Fragosa for extraction, lower gum at front. I didnt feel even the 'usual' injections to numb the area. Very impressed. Extraction of tooth- felt just a pressure of a 'push' All very good. No pain at ALL. Ive filling scale and polish to go - 10/10 so far.

Shocking Patient Care. Having worked in a dental practice myself I found the dentist my 10 year old daughter was sent to as an urgent trauma case was extremely unprofessional. Zero patience for a scared child, did not explain what she was going to do before she acted.
Would not recommend at all.

This was my 4th emergency appointment for the same problem , not at Egremont.The dentist was extremely hard to understand being possibly African (I am not racist at all) I had to keep saying sorry but I cannot understand you, which seemed to make her cross. I had to have another xray taking into account I have a large sore abcess at the back of my front teeth and under my tonguo, she was very rough and not at all apologetic for the discomfort she was causing. She wrote a prescription for antibiotics which made me feel sick continously, I had to stop them after 3 days

I mistakenly turned up for my dental appointment at the wrong time, and I was charged £40 for the missed appointment. I do understand it was me who was at fault, but I thought they would have been more forgiving considering I have been a patient for many years and its the first time I have missed an appointment.When I called the practice, I was given false information, from the receptionist regarding rescheduling the appointment. I was told I would have to wait until next year to book the appointment, which would therefore leave me in pain for a further two months. As a private paying patient I would have thought they would have been more accommodating.

I'm sorry but I aid an emergency apintment 2 times and both time I walked out in more pain than I walked in with I now my tooth has cracked and fell away which was painless when it happened but just today my filling has also cracked and partly fell off and I am in pain again so I need another appointment but I am honesty terrified and the only way I think I will be comferbke getting it taken out is by being placed under Anastasia as I cry any time people talk to me about dentists. I don't know the person's name who did my theeth but I honestly hope they have been fired as I am not the only person they have done this to.
