Probably the best hotel in barrow in furness. Rooms are good size and clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great food for dinner and breakfast . Happy to recommend.

Great Hotel, Great location, The comfiest hotel room we've stayed. The food was delicious, Breakfast choices were limited but sufficient. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Around 25-30 minutes from lake windermere. Parking was great with free parking and plenty of space. Rooms are tidy and cleaned if requested.

Used the restaurant whilst visiting a guest staying at the hotel. The booths are really spacious and comfy, great for 6 people. They use a table buzzer system, so you just press the button to order drinks, food or the bill and the stafff appear! Food was very good, can recommend the fish pie, deserts were massive. For a little bit more than pub grub, this is a great place to go eat.

Missed my connection so it would have been rude not to have gone in and sample come ales. Very nice place with friendly staff. Next time I travel by train I might mix the connection on purpose.

Had Sunday lunch here today with a friend, and the Beef was inedible, very fatty and unable to cut it .
Couldn?t chew it.
Made a point of this to member of staff and was given a steak knife .
Complete waste of £14 won?t be returning anytime soon

Traditional old hotel was highlight of barrow for us. Emlyn hughes statue right outside was a bonus! hotel next door to wetherspoons where we had tea. Room very spacious and good value. Breakfast was good. Must see is walney island 10 mins away in car. Views amazing.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The room was very clean and spacious. The tv was a great size & and has netflix ? we highly recommend this hotel & hopefully, one day, we get to visit again ?
