Great little country pub with food on Fridays

Always enjoy our time there, with friends or for a quiet evening hidden in a corner. Lovely family friendly staff, and great food.
Located on the outskirts of Dalton-in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside a former coaching inn, the Black Dog is still run as a traditional, local pub. The quarry tiled floors, rustic beams and log fires are cosy in the winter while our decked terrace is enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year.
With a wide range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, there’s sure to be something for all tastes. We have a superb range of award winning ales and draught beers, serving a great selection of wines, gins and whiskeys
