We didn't stay here; it was recommended by the Airbnb host, so we came here for a meal. The food was lovely and a decent price. The service was great, staff very friendly and a lovely atmosphere. The locals were happy to chat and give us some advice on the area. A very pleasant evening.

Lovely food. Chicken Balti on the specials board was really tasty. Will definitely be returning to this place for the food. Good quality, well kept real ale too.

Little gem of a place beautifully done inside. Dog friendly. Food spot on not overly priced for what you get. Booked again. Bonus but not done it yet they have an apartment which is to die for. Again dog freindly.Rooms: 5 star.Food & drinks: Definitely not pub food. Exelant.

Just had a lovely meal this evening at the Railway Inn, food was amazing, delicious, definitely home cooked, It?s tucked away out of Lindal but should be on the main thoroughfare for everyone to experience the quality of the food and the service.

Cracking food, good range of options on the menu, so much so we were spoilt for choice. Prices at the higher end for a 'gastro pub' hence a 4 star rather than a 5 rating.
