Visited my family in Carlisle last week and decided at the last minute to go get something to eat. My sister in law suggested the Bridge end in Dalston. We all had a lovely meal, the food and service was excellent, next time I'm up in Carlisle I will be definitely go again

Such a shame. Rude staff. Felt a bit like a Lidl with them trying to make their cash and move to the next one. Fish had more salt on it than it did whilst swimming

Only used the outside area as I was a safety Marshall for a charity bike ride event the day I was there but I have heard good things about this place, good food and good service.

Our first visit to this venue. Booked a table for lunch and we were really impressed with our meal. It was all freshly cooked to order and delicious.
We sat in the restaurant, but there was a lovely garden area and also a bar for anyone just wanting to pop in for a drink.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient.
We will definitely be back.

Really nice place..went for the beef which was very good,but only 1 portion of veg per 4 meals ? so orderd another which was smaller than the first..lamb didnt come with separate gravy ?..good service from the 2 blonde ladies..puddings were delish especially the summer eton mess cheesecake..overall very good 8/10 just some minor tweeks to make a 10...
