Had the best ever beef burgers in my life, 8oz made to perfection. Very friendly staff. Food arrived very promptly and the prices were reasonable. Would go again and would recommend. Punctuated a good weekend

We called in on our way back to where we were staying for food, as the reviews were good. We ordered the Fish n Chips and the Burger. Both were of good size portions and tasted very good. Service was good. Worth a try if passing.

Well worth the walk up from Coniston centre, along the footpath. Great tradional pub. Good range of excellent beers and other drinks. Friendly & informative service from the young barman. Good background music channel with videos. Doggy treats look interesting.

Lovely little pub that we stopped in on our way back from the old Man of Conniston. Some real history here and great character, good smelt amazing and looked great but we didn't personally eat. Was great for a quick drink as had space inside and out great little pub with character and staff very friendly.

Good Bar with a Cosy but Modern Feel. Great pint of Guinness. Staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Lovely setting, but food and drink massively overpriced, especially for families. Not even table service. 3 soft drinks and a cappuccino just under £20. Lacking atmosphere.

The staff were really welcoming, we met the chef John and had a good laugh. The food was great and my partner said it's the best gluten free fish and chips she's ever had! Great atmosphere and very dog friendly
