Bit of a quiet day so it was rather empty, but we had so some nice cake and iced latte and watched the ducks

Had an ice cream from the external window and was excellent and staff were helpful.

Quite simply the worst coffee we have ever had. The latte was nothing more than beige milk, with no coffee taste, and the iced latte was bitter in the extreme. Waiter was brusque and unfriendly. The only redeeming feature was the view.

Not all terrible but we had a long wait on our meals, it was after lunch at 2:50pm roughly and I had spent £27 on two plates of food , then we paid another £10 for two alcoholic drinks. It took about 25 minutes for our mobile ordered food to arrive. People who came in after us, who also ordered ordered hot meals after we had, seemed to be priority and received their meals before us. So was a bit annoyed about it. Once food came it was nice enough, chip portions could be better for the price. Staff were okay but service needs to be sorted.

Nice clean cafe, cool on a hot summer's day. Free, clean toilets.

Coffee and cakes were mediocre, feels very touristy and lacking character

We hired a boat from the Coniston boat centre and after fancied a coffee and a bit of cake. We popped into the dog friendly Bluebird cafe and I'm so glad we did, the planned coffee and cake ended with us having a delicious English breakfasts , soup, chips and cakes all beautiful and even though it wasn't cheap the prices justified the lovely food. I would highly recommend the Bluebird Cafe to anyone it has a wide selection of foods to accommodate all tastes.

Nice food but was expensive and the wait was quite a while. The hot chocolate was nice but the cream was very bland

Two visits this week - food is nice but over priced, mostly it?s disappointing in terms of service. After lunch rush, not busy but somehow a 50 minute wait for food today on a 4 person order for sandwiches and chips - chased after 30 minutes and told just a few minutes - no sign of any concern or apology, to the contrary, faces of complete indifference - not a happy workforce it seems. Ordered cakes later which also took an absolute age to be served. It is at least dog friendly and has a great view over the lake, with indoor, outdoor covered and on the shore seating options.

The food was good and you can't fault the view! Staff seemed a little unfocused, although that could have been due to a very hot day and a terribly busy lunch time.

Tea for two provided us with two cups each, very nice.
Stunning location on the shores of Coniston Lake.
Lovely cakes! I usually go for the shortbread which is delicious.
The ice-cream, sold from a side window was very popular with visitors.
Helpful, pleasant staff, great location. Clean and tidy, great facilities.
Parking is available just by the cafe including disabled. A large car park is across the road.
Well worth a visit. The lake is magnificent, and you can enjoy watching ducks, and sail boats from this venue.

We visited today. Brilliant service lovely friendly staff. The food was superb and we didn't have to wait long. The new building is great. Well done all.
