Dining on a normal Tuesday night - they ran out of Pizza!
The prices are more like London - £10 for 5 measly calamari rings and £5 for a mini bowl of leafs! C'mon man - we expected better!

Went here after climbing the old man! Food was great and the nice cold pint was great after walking mountains! Reasonable price too, friendly staff. We will be back!

Lovely pub, great menu! Lovely location just tucked around the corner from the hustle and bustle. Cheese and bacon burger was fantastic. Just one comment about the chicken burger for management to take note... Please don't fry chicken products in the same oil as you fry your fish! Unfortunately my partners chicken burger tasted of fish and was quite off putting which was a shame because otherwise I couldn't have faulted it at all.

Stopped for a drink after a hike on old man coniston. Lovely friendly staff. Nice and relaxing beer garden. Couldn't fault it. So glad I stopped here!

Extremely satisfied with our stay in The Crown Inn!
This was a very spontaneous trip and we only spend a night there but the service we received was very good.
The room was very spacious, clean & nicely decorated. We came with our dog and we were touched by a special ?doggy box? for our cockapoo, Arthur, containing some calming treats, poo bags and a toy.
Never had fresh milk in a room fridge before so that was a nice surprise! Bed was very comfy & we had a good night sleep.
Very satisfied with food as well. We ate dinner and then had a delicious breakfast in the morning.
Staff are very friendly and they definitely love dogs ?
Really happy with our stay and wish we stayed longer. We will be booking again, for at least two nights this time. Thank you for a lovely stay ??

A welcoming pub right in the heart of Coniston. The atmosphere is cosy and friendly, with a great mix of locals and visitors. Food is hearty, well-cooked, and perfect after a day of walking in the fells. The menu has good variety, and the portions are generous. Staff are attentive and helpful, and the service is quick even when it?s busy. Lovely selection of local ales and a nice beer garden to enjoy on sunny days. A great place to relax and soak up the charm of the Lake District.

Beers had a strange taste, probably need to clean the lines. However, not a problem thanks to their extensive, affordable cocktail menu. Particularly the espresso martini was delicious

Stunning cocktail menu. staff really polite and always happy to make them no questions asked, unless you want a margarita. Then you?re a menace to society and you will be told about it. p.s. Clean your lines!! Black bull round the corner sells local produce and independent beers.

Cannot recommend the cocktails more. Amazing espresso martini. 2 for 1 cocktails all Saturday, how amazing!
Don't bother with pints lines need a clean.
