Golf break for 4 guys with 3 cars.
Comfortable twin rooms, very tasty breakfast and helpful staff helped us locate car parking spaces at 7pm ish on our arrival.
Hidden spaces rear of the building.
Less than 3 minutes walk to The Bush Inn for great beers and pub grub (steak pies) on our 2nd night.
Will certainly return and recommend to family and friends.
Staff all very helpful and friendly in all parts of the hotel.
Rooms: Comfortable twins.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and exceptional cooked breakfast - never felt the need to ask about the bacon before! Compliments to the chef.Rooms are pretty good, but the beds are just double size (not king) and the heating needs some attention, as it was hot in the middle ofnth bnighr, and unnecessarily so. Pillows like pancakes, sadly.Tidy and clean, a good stay - the staff put a lot of effort into making sure you feel valued. A night is good value, worth calling up to book instead of using the site.

The staff were amazing, they couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We had an early start the next day, and we were given an amazing "takeaway" breakfast for the next day. The evening dinner was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed the turbot. The only "criticism" was there too much food! Thanks to Kane, his mum, and the amazing Chef.

Stayed in the Manor house hotel while visiting relatives and it was a totally great experience! The building is so beautiful with so much character. The location is perfect being a 2 minute walk to the town centre but just far enough away to be peaceful, staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is plentiful and of the best quality! This hotel is steeped in history and as such the rooms reflect this perfectly while being clean comfortable and warm.Would I stay here again? Oh hell yes!!

The Manor House has recently started serving to the public through the week and we have heard the fabulous reviews and decided to attend!All I can say is that the food, service and surroundings were absolute perfection. The food is incredible and made with such incredible ingredients, skill and talent. I thoroughly recommend to attend it really was a first class experience. The service was also brilliant and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be booking again very soon and it is a credit to Cockermouth to have somewhere that is a real fine dining experience. Thank you for a lovely evening!
